Peptide
A short chain of amino acids linked by peptide bonds—shorter than a full protein.
In product marketing, “peptide” can mean anything from a dipeptide in eye cream to a 30+ amino acid drug. Chain length and modification (acetyl, palmitoyl) change behavior.
